MNOU 1st Graduation Day

Myanmar Nway-Oo University (MNOU) held its convocation ceremony on 8.3.2025 at 9:00 am, celebrating the achievements of its graduates, who stand courageously for verity. The union minister of education H.E. Dr. Zaw Wai Soe and deputy minister H.E. Dr. Sai Khaing Myo Tun, chancellor, vice-chancellors, faculty members, graduates, and all the staff of MNOU gathered at the event to witness this significant milestone. Before the ceremony began, in a designated private room, the respective professors formally proposed to the chancellor for the conferment of six different types of degrees: M.A., B.A.(Hons), B.A, B.Agr.Sc., D.V.M., and Diplomas to be awarded at the first graduation ceremony of Myanmar Nway-Oo University. The chancellor then sought the approval of the academic board for the conferment of these degrees. Ceremony opened with Wutyone Taw song and then we all kept still with the national anthem. The ceremony began when the university’s chancellor professed, with an inspiring speech from educational ministers and departmental professors, encouraging graduates to pursue their dreams. The chancellor administered the oath of commitment to the graduates, conferred the degree certificates, and granted permission for them to wear the academic gowns appropriate to their respective degrees. After the proceedings, a student representative delivered a speech of gratitude on behalf of the graduates. Followed by a closing remark from a vice-chancellor, the ceremony was concluded successfully. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Myanmar Nway-Oo University’s First Graduation Ceremony Organizing Committee, as well as all the respected faculties and staff who participated and contributed to the success of this first graduation ceremony.
